fan_flashworks that I never got around to putting anywhere else.The fifth base in his hand is so bleach white that it hurts his eyes. The grass, a lush green. The stadium lights aimed down at them suddenly so bright he had to squint.
It completely slipped his mind, after all these years, that the forcefield wasn’t perfectly clear.
Megan grins at him with all their teeth before prancing back to the pitching mound. They look the same as before, the same old blue tint following them.
It’s been 50 odd years since Parker last saw what his best friend looked like, and it seems it will be 50 more.
